Birthday Boy Ben

Ben was born April 10, 1986

That's him with the bow tie at age 3 with his sister Kim.
So stinkin' cute!

His teenage years-- I wish I could have been a fly on the wall.
With his trusty friend Bud Lusk.

This basically explains Ben Moss all in one picture.
Love him.

Sent to North Carolina

The Best Day

And now here he is...

Happy Birthday Ben!

Thanks for being such a great man, husband, and friend!
You are so loved.

Family Night

We had a great night out on the town at Nickel City. Yes, we sound like middle schoolers but it really was enjoyable.

Ben gave the tickets that we won to unsuspecting youngsters, this is very kind and Ben-like... I secretly wanted them, this is very selfish and more Emily-like. ;)

and we played...

and played...

and played... until all our nickels ran out.

The End.

Grandmas House!

This weekend was very fun! I got to go up to Logan and visit my wonderful Grandma Misener.

Saturday night the girls went out to dinner while the men went to priesthood session.
We went to Pizza Pie Cafe and I must say it was delicious!

On Sunday we watched General Conference with the family and had lunch.

Such a great time.

Here is my Grandparent's home. So many wonderful memories here, it truly was a refuge from the world.  I'm am so grateful to have had such righteous and kind grandparents. I hope to be like them.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Misener!

Girls Night Out!

My best friend in the whole wide world ever since I was a small child - Robin Huddleston.

Love her and her sweet family.

Robin, Shannon (Robin's sister) and I all went to dinner and to THE HUNGER GAMES.

Very fun time!

THE ZOO

My family came and visited Ben and I in Orem.  We went to the Hogle Zoo. Loved it.

I connected with the elephants for some reason! So cute!

But the best part was being with the my sweet family! Just look at them, how could you not love them all!

Hip Hip Hooray for the ZOO!

Our Summer Adventures in Washington State!

Ben and I decided that we would take one big road trip this summer and go see his family in Washington. I have never drove for so long at once! But it was fun to see the country. We finally made it there after two days of driving. Our first stop was beautiful Hood River, Oregon (about 45 min. from Bens moms)

That weekend we also went to the Portland Saturday Market. It was pretty neat.  There were so many people and booths it was crazy! We went with beautiful Julia and Thalia. So fun!

Climbing Mt. Adams
While we were visiting Ben's family, we thought it would be fun to climb Mt. Adams.  It is over 12,000 feet and is covered by snow year round.

We found our cool ski poles at good will for $3.00 each at goodwill.

Emily headed back down, with Mt. Hood in the distance.

Other fun things on our trip

Ever since Emily saw VooDoo Doughnut on the travel channel she has wanted to go there. The doughnuts weren't that good, but they had style.

This voodoo doughnut man was being skewered by a pretzel stick.

Camping in Diamond Valley

We camped in Diamond Valley for one night.  Emily was afraid of Bears and murderers.  Needless to say we made it home alive.
